About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Space Systems Training Specialist to join our Integrated Operations Training Department team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training products to support mission operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training material to support automated scenarios, mission exercises, and certification check rides for customers and internal operations personnel.
  • Work with Mission/Systems Leads to identify training needs and develop training plans and curriculum, including reference guides and evaluation tools.
  • Collaborate with mission operations personnel to ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout, satellite commissioning, and day-to-day operations.
  • Support multiple programs to ensure standardization across the spectrum of missions managed by the Integrated Operations Training Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
  • 5+ years (level 3) or 8+ years (level 4) of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Clearance level: Top Secret SSBI / SCI eligible at time of application.
  • Expertise in technical disciplines such as orbital propagation and perturbations, orbit estimation, orbital maneuvers, modeling, simulation, and analysis.
