Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support our eFAST FAA Program at the FAA Tech Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting software testing, data validation, and developing user guidance documentation. If you have a passion for software testing and a strong background in analysis, SQL, and FAA regulations, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct software testing, including regression and feature testing, to ensure the highest quality of our software solutions.
  • Perform data validation, including SQL work and reviewing data consistency and logic, to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Run and adapt ETL scripts for data processing and management to support our software testing efforts.
  • Develop user guidance documentation to facilitate effective use of our software solutions.
  • Perform data mining using NLP/regex to classify safety incidents by specific attributes, providing valuable insights for our clients.


Requirements:

  • Strong background in software testing, analysis, and SQL.
  • Experience with FAA regulations and software development.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some days on-site in Herndon, Virginia and some days remote.
