Job Overview

Barton & Gray Mariners Club is seeking a skilled Marine Maintenance Specialist to join our team in North Stonington, Connecticut. As a key member of our yacht shop, you will be responsible for performing general boat maintenance and service work on our fleet of Hinckley power boats.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including sanding, buffing, painting, and parts removal to ensure our vessels are in top condition.
  • Support our Marine Technicians with tasks such as equipment setup, tool maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in marine maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Hinckley yachts is a strong asset, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor repairs if needed.
