Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including analyzing raw materials, in-process, and final products for conformity to material specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory functions in accordance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, ADEM, DOT, etc.)
  • Analyze raw materials, in-process, and final products for conformity to material specifications
  • Perform QC analytics via GC, HPLC, and IC, utilizing an array of detectors and laboratory equipment
  • Prepare and analyze analytical standards to ensure integrity of reported values
  • Provide PTO coverage for Laboratory Technicians and coordinate with Production Staff to ensure analytical services remain uninterrupted
  • Record analytical results for all testing in Excel and SAP
  • Prepare product samples to be shipped via DOT regulations
  • Maintain a tidy working environment and ensure all chemical waste is disposed of in accordance with government regulations
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, unpack and transport reagent and product chemicals safely as needed
Work Schedule

The selected candidate will work a 4-10 hour shift (5 AM - 3 PM) for the initial 3-6 months, followed by a 12 hour swing shift (5 AM - 5 PM)
