Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare precise and timely financial reports and statements while ensuring adherence to accounting control procedures.
  • Analyze accounting data and generate comprehensive financial reports.
  • Oversee budgetary and financial management activities.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and finalize annual audits.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to accounting systems and processes.
  • Direct internal and external audits to guarantee compliance.
  • Plan, assign, and review the work of accounting staff.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to refine financial procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of cumulative experience in accounting and finance.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting or CPA certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, or senior accountant.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the closing process.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a meticulous approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
