We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in pediatric intensive care to join our team as a travel nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
About the Job:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a high-tech children's services area for critically ill, medically complex, and/or post-surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the NICU or PICU. Active RN licensure, PALS, and NRP certifications are required. A degree from an accredited nursing program is also necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for children and adolescents with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions that require constant monitoring.
- Prioritize careful monitoring of patients and report regularly to the pediatrician and family on the patient's condition and what they can expect in recovery.
