Mixologist

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and energetic mixologist with outstanding communication abilities to craft classic cocktails and unique house specialties for our clientele. The ideal candidate will engage with patrons, understand their preferences, respond to inquiries, suggest menu options, and prepare and serve drinks and food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recognizing members and their families by name or face.
• Welcoming guests, actively listening to their beverage preferences, providing recommendations, and processing drink orders.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages offered.
• Assisting in the development of drink menus and keeping customers informed about new offerings and specials.
• Choosing and mixing ingredients, garnishing drinks, and serving beverages to guests.
• Verifying identification to ensure compliance with legal age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies to keep the bar and tables well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality standards.
• Accurately processing charges for members.
• Ensuring a clean working and dining environment by disposing of waste.
• Cleaning the bar top and washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Creating innovative cocktail recipes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be beneficial.
• Must meet the state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a positive, engaging demeanor and professional appearance.
• Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with drink mixing tools and techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
