Experienced MRI Technologist Wanted for Travel Assignment

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to work as an MRI Technologist with our client hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring accurate and safe results for patients. This will involve working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Performing MRI scans: Confirmed patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining procedures to patients.
- Patient preparation: Screening patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance and positioning them for scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
- Assisting radiologists: Helping with procedure performance, starting I.V.s, administering contrast media, and evaluating MRI scans for technical quality.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience: Demonstrated proficiency in performing MRI scans and patient care.
- Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification, BLS certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
- Physical demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

A generous estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
