We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will fabricate and install piping systems for liquids and gasses at various pressures, utilizing measurement, fit-up bending, and installation skills to comply with tight tolerances.
Responsibilities include working with various systems, including hydraulic, lube oil, high and low pressure air, and more. The ideal candidate will also be able to groom systems for inspections, cut and fit pipe using saws and consumable inserts, and clean and maintain piping components.
This position requires the ability to interpret technical manuals and perform basic layout functions. Experience in pipefitting, plumbing, or HVAC is highly desirable, as well as experience working in construction or manufacturing.
