We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Westborough. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient rehab environment and provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehab setting, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Experience working in an inpatient rehab setting, preferably with a focus on physical therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other relevant software systems.
- Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, including those with neurological or musculoskeletal impairments.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
