Job Summary

As a key member of the Apple Services Engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of innovative technologies that power Apple's services, including the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Fitness+, and Apple Books. This is a unique opportunity to work on a massive scale, meeting Apple's high expectations with high performance, and delivering a huge variety of entertainment in over 35 languages to more than 150 countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with software engineers and managers from the Core Services Engineering team to define, schedule, and track the team's work and multi-functional initiatives.
  • Drive yearly, quarterly, and other strategic roadmap planning, discussions, and communication.
  • Engage deeply and immerse yourself in the program and projects where engineers that you support are engaged.
  • Lead complex, multi-functional software projects and drive cross-platform integrations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, multi-functional software projects.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager with experience involving complex server/client interactions.
  • Experience driving development of new platform capabilities, as well as overall integration and adoption.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, multi-functional software projects.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences.
  • Proven track record in defining processes and executing on them.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others.
