This position is a Seasonal Full-Time role for the first shift (Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm).

Under the guidance of Warehouse Leadership, a Bearhouse Worker may undertake various responsibilities, including palletizing boxes, utilizing a radio frequency scanner to dispatch cartons to retail locations, and assembling orders that may involve picking, packing, stuffing, sewing, and dressing the plush toys.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Efficiently gathering products for each order using an RF scanner. Receiving merchandise into the warehouse. Adhering to prompts for order picking. Operating a forklift, turret truck, and/or order picker (Onsite training is available). Replenishing stock and relocating items as necessary. Assembling orders promptly. Following specific instructions for each order to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Stuffing, sewing, and dressing the plush toys. Reviewing completed orders for accuracy, identifying and rectifying any product discrepancies. Performing additional tasks as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications Include:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in reading English. Preferred experience: 1-2 years in distribution, warehouse, or logistics. Capability to stand, walk, or sit for 8 hours or more daily. Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Capacity to climb stairs multiple times throughout the day. Dexterity in using hands and fingers, reaching with arms, stooping, kneeling, and bending. Manual dexterity is essential. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Availability for occasional overtime during the week, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong multitasking abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols. Proficiency in using RF equipment and walkie-talkies. Reliability and dependability, demonstrating persistence and dedication to tasks. Openness to supervision and coaching. Flexibility and adaptability to change; willingness to assist in other warehouse departments as needed. Effective communication skills with teammates and leadership.
