You will work on complex projects, producing high-quality, intricate parts made from aluminum, plastic, and steel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical machines, specifically Haas UMC 750 5axis and Mori DMG Horizontal.
  • Programming and Inspection: Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming for efficient part production and conduct manual inspection using gauges and instruments to ensure part quality.
  • Quality and Safety: Understand GD&T and interpret complex 2-D drawings, monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process, and follow company quality and safety procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and participate in Lean manufacturing events to improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 5 years of CNC Mills machine set-up experience, with a focus on Aerospace experience and 5axis set-up experience
  • Skills: Familiarity with Haas and or Mori DMG Machines, experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, and steel, and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
