Position:
Hospitalist
Overview:
We are initiating a new Hospitalist program and are seeking an additional physician to become part of our dedicated team. This is a hospital-based employed role that enjoys strong support from local community physicians.
Schedule: 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee ICU patients and manage ventilator care.
Work designated shifts without additional call obligations.
The average daily patient census is currently 13, with expectations for growth.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist with intentions to achieve certification (MD or DO).
Must be comfortable and skilled in ventilator management and ICU patient care.
Experience with central lines and intubations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Open to both practicing candidates and new residents/fellows.
Facility:
Our facility features a 6-bed open ICU and is undergoing a $9 million project for a complete ICU unit renovation, anticipated to commence shortly.
Compensation:
Competitive salary in the $250K range plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Notes:
We are open to considering Family Physicians with extensive experience in ICU and adult medicine.
