Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Lead to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and deploying complex information systems for US Department of Defense (DoD) / Intelligence Community (IC) systems. You will utilize your mechanical engineering expertise during the development, production, and integration phases of system design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $179,000 per year, based on experience, location, and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, documentation, and deployment of complex information systems for US Department of Defense (DoD) / Intelligence Community (IC) systems;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems, electrical, mechanical analysis, and test engineers;
Develop and implement design solutions that meet product requirements using 2D and 3D CAD solid modeling software;
Provide guidance on mechanical issues to the project team;
Work on multiple projects in an enthusiastic team environment;

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 5 years of relevant experience;
Active and transferable U.S. government DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start date;
Local travel for customer meetings and periodic CONUS travel may be required;

Preferred Skills
Experience with PTC CREO (Windchill PDM), Visio Visual Basic macros, computing system environment, Hyperconverged system technologies, ASHRAE Thermal Analysis for Data Centers, MIL-STD-810 standards, and Agile Hardware environments;
