Electronics Integration Specialist Opportunity at Kontron America Inc

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electronics Integration Specialist to join our team at Kontron America Inc. As an integral part of our organization, this professional will be responsible for performing all tasks required to build a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Testing: The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and testing complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems, including wiring, component installation, cable and harness assembly, and chassis and rack construction.
  • Troubleshooting: This role requires the ability to troubleshoot assemblies, sub-assemblies, and circuit cards down to the component level, as well as identify and resolve hardware and software conflicts.
  • Test Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating a range of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, is essential for this position.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurate documentation and record-keeping are crucial in this role, including maintaining logs and data sheets, and ensuring test procedures are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for working effectively with production assemblers, QA/QC inspectors, engineers, program managers, stock handlers, buyers, and other operations personnel.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with computer operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux), Microsoft Office products, and local area networks (LANs) is desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Benefits:

Kontron America Inc offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
