Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, while maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and standards, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor and improve pharmacy operations, including inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, customers, and caregivers, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Personnel Management: Lead, motivate, and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, while promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze and improve financial performance, including managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, while maintaining a secure and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Workflow Management: Continuously assess and improve pharmacy workflows, including streamlining processes and reducing waste.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
