Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EKG Technician to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiographic exams using various ECG equipment and procedures. You will also assist in maintaining patient information and billing logs, as well as electronic databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrocardiographic exams using ECG equipment and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining patient information and billing logs
  • Assist in maintaining electronic databases
  • Perform stress testing using exercise and pharmacologic modalities
  • Transcribe ECG interpretations

Requirements:

  • 1 year of patient care experience in an acute care setting
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Experience in operating standard office equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in ECG/Stress ECG in an acute hospital care setting
  • ECG transcription experience
  • ICD10 coding experience
  • Experience maintaining electronic patient databases
