Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer at RMB Products, Inc. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and support of manufacturing processes for corrosion-protected vessels and piping, along with any associated tooling. Responsibilities include producing detailed drawings through CAD, employing sound mechanical design principles using SolidWorks. Daily activities may involve conducting research, assessing project specifications, formulating design concepts, generating comprehensive drawings via Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
  • Expertise in SolidWorks CAD software
  • Familiarity with ASME BPVC, Section VIII
  • Experience with ASME calculation software, preferably Compress
  • Background in Product Design
  • General understanding of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and plastics
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving acumen
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous
