About the Role

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Area Representative to join our team. As a key member of our ministry, you will play a vital role in fulfilling our mission to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ministerial Duties
    • Embody and uphold FCA's Christian Community Statement, demonstrating a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.
    • Lead by example, providing spiritual leadership to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and daily living.
    • Connect with and participate in a local church, engaging in regular worship and weekly involvement.
    • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct, aligning with FCA's Christian beliefs.
  • Ministry Advancement
    • Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one ministry, Huddles, and Events.
    • Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to become disciples who make disciples in sports environments.
  • Talent Advancement
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
  • Board Advancement
    • Build and maintain an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and giving.
  • Donor Advancement
    • Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to achieve full funding.
    • Manage and steward finances for the assigned area of responsibility.
    • Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan, growing the Home Team, major donors, and events.
  • International Advancement
    • Collaborate with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and going.
Requirements

This position requires a strong passion for Christian ministry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Hockey playing and coaching experience is not required but is highly recommended.
