Experienced Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Foundry at Summit Pond, a high-volume restaurant in Killington, Vermont. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare high-quality food in coordination with the rest of the culinary team
• Have an excellent understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Work with speed and precision, multitasking to meet the demands of a high-volume kitchen
• Ensure that dishes are ready to go and that the chefs' instructions are followed
• Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties
• Uphold service preparation and culinary standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife handling
• Ability to learn, understand, and execute daily recipes and menus
• Passion for details and a willingness to learn
• Mastery and working knowledge of all menu items
