Job Overview

Groundworks is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Olathe, KS. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a variety of lifts to move and store materials and tools in the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have experience with large 30k lifts and be able to maintain a safe and clean warehouse work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a variety of lifts, including Swing Lift/Cherry Picker, Spider Lift, 30k+ Lifts, and 4 and 8k Ride-On Lifts
  • Unloading received deliveries and placing in directed rack locations
  • Picking and packaging materials for shipment
  • Loading outbound trucks
  • Movement of materials throughout the facility to support manufacturing, receiving, and shipping
  • Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse work environment

Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment
  • Experience operating a scanner
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean warehouse work environment
  • Ability to procure OSHA certification and forklift license

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, driving, sitting, and lifting.

Working Conditions:

Material Handlers will be in a metal fabrication and warehouse environment.
