Role Summary:
This position is centered around project management with an emphasis on enhancing processes within a dynamic and complex manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and develop entry-level Manufacturing Engineers through various projects and initiatives.
- Establish and oversee a project pipeline to identify future business opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising engineers, area managers, programmers, and shop-floor staff on both tactical and strategic improvement projects.
- Support plant operations by executing various assigned tasks.
- Plan, facilitate, and drive tactical projects throughout the facility.
- Identify financial efficiencies and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Assist in various quality assurance and enhancement efforts.
- Manage New Product Integration processes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for senior management.
- Prepare and deliver high-level presentations of information and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings.
- Capability to analyze complex data and draw informed conclusions.
- High proficiency with ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of project financials, product/process costing, and cost analysis.
Desired:
- A minimum of a four-year degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Extensive experience in project and team management.
