Mechanical Support Specialist

We are seeking a Mechanical Support Specialist to assist our Maintenance Technician at Therm-O-Link.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Clean and keep machinery running to its optimal performance
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines, to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures, and tools
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment

Requirements:

• Tech school or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• $65,000 - $80,000 per year salary range based on location and experience
