At Bio-Rad Laboratories, we are seeking a meticulous individual to become part of our team as a Production Technician. In this position, you will engage in a range of responsibilities including the receipt and verification of materials, calibration of machinery, operation of production equipment, application of labels, assembly of components, and additional tasks. Your role will involve physical activities such as bending, kneeling, lifting items, and occasionally moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices is essential, along with the accurate completion of required documentation, proper waste disposal, and inventory management in your work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Systems
- Conduct inspections of products using various quality control procedures
- Accurately complete documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Operate equipment to transport materials as directed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a 5S workplace
- Manage inventory levels in designated work areas
- Notify the Lead of any unusual production issues
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Work Experience: 0-3 years
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions
- Basic skills in mathematics, problem-solving, and computer usage
- Experience with both manual and automated production machinery is preferred
- A collaborative team player who is flexible, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
Compensation: The estimated hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.00 to $23.00. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of the offer and will be based on various factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, and skills.
