Responsibilities
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Assist in food preparation procedures, including scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes and washing pots, pans, and trays by hand or machine.
  • Complete all assigned prep work, including removing trash and garbage to the dumpster area and washing work area tables, walls, and floors.
  • Assemble, maintain, and break down dish machines as needed.
  • Assist in cleaning the dining room area.
Requirements
  • Able to lift and move cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
  • Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment.
  • Works indoors (90%) and outdoors (10%).
  • Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
  • Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others.
  • Mobility is required during the entire shift.
