About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of developers in creating innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex software systems, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects, including cloud-based solutions, microservices, and full-stack systems.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers.
  • Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as open-source frameworks and container orchestration services.
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and participate in internal and external technology communities to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • At least 2 years of people management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
  • 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
