Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced anesthesiologist to join our team at the University of Missouri-Columbia. As a lead anesthesiologist, you will provide oversight and direction to a team of physician and CRNA providers dedicated to pediatric anesthesiology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction to CRNAs, resident physicians, and medical students
  • Develop and implement a work/call rotation for optimal work-life balance
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve departmental goals
  • Participate in academic medicine and contribute to the growth of the department
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree and ABA Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Missouri license required for MU Health Care credentialing
  • Experience in general and regional anesthesia for pediatric patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgery centers
  • Administrative experience and background in academic medicine
