Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installation Specialist to join our team at ProBuild. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of residential garage doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials from trucks onto work sites.
  • Cut products to specified sizes as needed.
  • Install parts in specified relationships to each other.
  • Verify the trueness of structures.
  • Apply the latest building codes, industry standards, and company policies in daily work.
  • Stay knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and apply safety requirements in daily work.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment/Physical Activity

  • Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Routinely required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Required to use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to bring objects into sharp focus.
  • Routinely exposed to outdoor weather conditions, and occasionally required to work in high places and exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
