HealthCare Recruiters International is actively seeking a qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist to join a prestigious institution specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This role focuses on providing comprehensive neuropsychological services to adult patients, particularly those recovering from significant neurological events.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to adults with neurological impairments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and spinal cord injury (SCI).
  • Implement behavioral strategies and provide support for patients adjusting to their injuries, including sleep and pain management.
  • Supervise and mentor psychology trainees and medical residents, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Engage in research initiatives related to SCI and TBI, contributing to both independent and collaborative projects.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
  • Successful completion of the EPPP exam.
  • Postdoctoral candidates who have passed the EPPP are encouraged to apply.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Alabama.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology or a related field is preferred.
