HealthCare Recruiters International is actively seeking a qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist to join a prestigious institution specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This role focuses on providing comprehensive neuropsychological services to adult patients, particularly those recovering from significant neurological events.
The successful candidate will:
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to adults with neurological impairments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and spinal cord injury (SCI).
- Implement behavioral strategies and provide support for patients adjusting to their injuries, including sleep and pain management.
- Supervise and mentor psychology trainees and medical residents, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage in research initiatives related to SCI and TBI, contributing to both independent and collaborative projects.
Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
- Successful completion of the EPPP exam.
- Postdoctoral candidates who have passed the EPPP are encouraged to apply.
- Eligibility for licensure in Alabama.
- Completion of a fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology or a related field is preferred.
