The Service Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of automotive lifts, compressors, and lubrication equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting the highest standards of quality.


The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate workflow to meet production goals and deadlines.
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  3. Supervise and train service technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  5. Maintain accurate records of equipment service history, tracking repairs and maintenance activities.
  6. Collaborate and assist with other departments as needed to achieve business objectives.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations.
  8. Maintain proper inventory levels, ordering supplies and materials as needed.
  9. Demonstrate the ability to write quotes for repairs as needed, providing accurate and detailed estimates to customers.
  10. Develop strong communication skills, interacting effectively with customers, employees, and suppliers.

Qualifications:
  1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and training technical staff.
  2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strong mechanical background and understanding of equipment operations.
  3. Proficiency in maintenance management software, tracking and analyzing equipment data to optimize performance.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer service and relations.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
