Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent

At HTH Companies, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to oversee the daily mechanical construction activities at our work sites. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of mechanical construction principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily pipe fitting, welding, and light mechanical/rigging activities
  • Assess workforce, material, tool, and construction equipment needs and arrange for these components to support the needs of the project
  • Analyze productivity trends and adjust work activities to optimize production
  • Review cost reports and projections and act to effectively manage job costs to levels within the contract budget
  • Develop solutions for routine problems using defined processes and own experience
  • Enforce jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the Company's Safety Program
Requirements:
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of basic tools and their applications
  • Personal Characteristics: ability to follow all safe work procedures, work in various weather conditions, and work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other protective equipment
  • Good hand-eye coordination, excellent communication skills, and adaptability in methods used to complete tasks
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for the team and motivated to learn new skills and trades
