  • The team member is often required to sit, walk, communicate, and listen.

  • Remain on feet for the majority of the workday while walking back and forth.
  • Lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds, occasionally requiring lateral movement.
  • Specific vision abilities necessary for this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Key Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Prepares and serves meals according to established menus and portion sizes as specified by yield guides.
  • Conducts cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment and work areas, and washing dishes and pots.
  • Brews coffee, fills beverage dispensers, and organizes hot and/or cold food stations.
  • Delivers food to staff, students, and catering events as needed.
  • Adheres to all state, federal, and local health department regulations for safe food handling.
  • Follows all security protocols and guidelines at client locations.
  • Inspects and stores incoming supplies appropriately.
  • Adheres to designated break schedules.
  • Collects and organizes trays for dishwashing and participates in ware washing as assigned.
  • Stores utensils, dishes, glasses, cups, pots, and other kitchen items.
  • Participates in safety committee activities.
  • Attends all required in-service training programs.
  • Manages point-of-sale and cash handling duties if applicable to the position.
