Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Provide training and guidance to custodial staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a custodial or facilities management role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavier materials using appropriate equipment.
  • Valid state driver's license or state ID required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual and bicultural skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. It may be expected that the individual could be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials or illnesses during the course of their duties.
