Job Overview
Kaplan North America, a leading provider of test preparation, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master's prepared nurse to join our team as an NCLEX Instructor. As a key member of our instructional team, you will play a critical role in helping new nursing graduates succeed on the NCLEX exam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, engaging students and promoting a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students, promoting their growth and development.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and ongoing instructional meetings to stay current on best practices and industry trends.
Academic and Clinical Qualifications:
- MSN or BSN with a Master's degree required.
- Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Weekday availability required.
