Clinical Psychometrist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychometrist to join our team at UHS. As a Clinical Psychometrist, you will play a critical role in administering and scoring psychological assessments for children and adolescents.

• Administer and score psychological assessments for children and adolescents
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to psychiatric treatments
• Provide a safe, secure, therapeutic, and professional environment at all times
• Respond to referral questions from healthcare professionals regarding diagnostic clarification and treatment planning

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field; Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology preferred
• At least one year of experience in psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments
• Leadership qualities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric principles, working concepts and theory, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, and psychological assessment

• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior
• Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids, and other hazardous waste
• General hospital environment

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Physical agility to manage patients with crisis prevention interventions
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping
