Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer - Mission Systems Responsible Engineer to join our team of talented professionals in Rancho Bernardo, CA. As a key member of our Avionics Integration Organization, you will oversee the lifecycle of design, build-up, and delivery of large data centers using commercially available IT equipment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating change requests, identifying cost and schedule risks, and presenting implementation plans to technical review boards. This role also involves driving engineering deliverables, executing field integration teams, and solving technical challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Experience with engineering drawings, IT/documentation tools, Agile processes, and Cost Account Management.

Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 - $199,600, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). The estimated application period is 20 days, but this timeline may vary depending on business needs and qualified candidate availability.
