Position Summary

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:
To ensure the safe and efficient transportation of agricultural products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transport agricultural products safely and efficiently.

2. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting findings in a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) each time the vehicle is operated.

3. Identify and address any maintenance issues on the vehicle prior to operating on public roads.

4. Maintain and take pride in the equipment used for job functions.

5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during operation.

6. Ensure proper use of placards and product labeling as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated.

2. Necessary endorsements for the products being transported.

3. Current Medical Card.

4. Physical ability to handle heavy materials.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Proficient in driving various manual transmission vehicles.
