Head Coach

This is a seasonal position responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching instruction at a large public high school. The ideal candidate will have experience as a player and/or coach at the high school level, with a strong understanding of the sport and its strategies.

• Organize and plan practices, ensuring effective communication with parents and players.
• Prepare practice plans, including equipment requirements and estimated drill lengths, and share them with assistant coaches.
• Supervise teams at the varsity and junior varsity levels, ensuring the presence of at least two coaches at the field.
• Attend all practices and games, arranging for coverage if unable to attend.
• Start and end practices on time, with the designated coach being the last to leave the field.
• Adhere to school board requirements and recommendations, and attend all coaches' meetings.
• Collaborate with the booster organization and fund-raising activities.

• Previous experience as a player and/or coach at the high school level.
• Valid teaching license in a high school curriculum area (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop players in a positive way.

• Spring Season: February 24, 2025 - June 7, 2025.
• Pay Grade: 8.
• Salary Scale: Activities Stipend List.
