We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Davidson County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and implement a program that addresses local school speech-language goals.
- Serve on committees, such as curriculum development and speech-language program development meetings.
- Schedule interventions using a variety of service delivery models, including comprehensive services.
- Collaborate with school personnel to best meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain records of the speech-language program and prepares periodic reports as required.
- Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Eligible for NC Licensure.
- Eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence.
The successful candidate must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
