About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, welding, painting, plumbing, and carpentry repairs as needed.
  • Calculate electrical loads and review plans to determine maintenance work required.
  • Install electrical panels and associated circuits, and troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
  • Follow Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensure that records are properly documented.
  • May perform or assist in the installation, relocation, and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment.
  • May perform or assist in the repair and maintenance of support equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, HVAC, and DI water systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one to three years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Florida Licensed Electrician preferred.
  • Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase circuits and ability to work with voltages up to 480 volts.
  • Ability to measure, bend, and support EMT.
  • Knowledge of tools and materials of the trade.
  • Ability to use test meters to test for live circuits.
