Pain Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Sound Pain Alliance. As a comprehensive pain care clinician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, developing, and implementing treatment plans for patients presenting to our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing physical examinations and obtaining, updating, and recording medical histories.
- Completing appropriate documentation of all evaluations, care, and services rendered in the electronic medical record.
- Making appropriate referrals for consultations.
- Providing counseling and patient education for recommended interventional procedures to patients and families.
- Responding to telephone inquiries of patients in a timely manner.
- Communicating with referring or primary care physicians regarding patient care and treatment.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic test results.
- Prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination certification or Nurse Practitioner exam.
- Must be current with continuing medical education requirements.
