About the Role
Sancorp Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Counter Proliferation Specialist to provide administrative, policy, operational, and analytic support to the Counter Proliferation and Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate Office within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare briefings and staff packages for OUSD(I&S) leadership on state-of-the-art counter-proliferation of WMD and WMD delivery systems.
  • Evaluate commercial technologies, including preparing compatibility studies, to reduce duplication of efforts at the Department level.
  • Assist in developing processes and frameworks within the DoD and broader interagency and Intelligence Community (IC).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WMD, counter-proliferation technologies, and relevant policies. A minimum of 1 year of experience producing reports and briefings in DoD or the IC is required. Familiarity with international treaties and agreements, such as the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), is also essential.
