Position Overview:

The role of a Class A CDL Truck Operator involves the transportation of goods to various destinations while adhering to safety and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a highway-rated truck tractor, towing flatbeds or bulk trailers to designated locations.
  • Ensure that all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Interpret loading instructions and provide guidance to the crew as necessary.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Maintain communication with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating trucks in a similar capacity.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, loading instructions, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in environments with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and dust. Operators must remain vigilant to ensure safety in areas with moving equipment and vehicle traffic.

Educational Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
