The position operates with a significant degree of autonomy under the guidance of the IT Security Architect or a designated representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts and manages comprehensive forensic investigations across the enterprise.
- Evaluates and devises strategies to enhance the protection of electronic information.
- Engages in various security system initiatives, including electronic access control and video surveillance upgrades.
- May delegate tasks and supervise IT Security Technicians and IT Security Analysts.
- Undertakes additional related responsibilities as required.
- Secures enterprise-level Active Directory, remote access, and physical security frameworks.
- Facilitates and executes security audits for computer systems and physical access controls.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Business Management, or a closely related discipline, along with three years of substantial technical experience in security and systems analysis within a multi-vendor, multi-site context.
Proficiency in security software applications, desktop systems, physical access control technologies, and digital video recording systems is essential.
Work Environment
The Information Systems & Services department supports a vast network of over 10,000 desktop workstations. Software standards encompass, but are not limited to, the latest versions of Microsoft Office Suite Professional, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, and various industry-standard business applications.
Technical Skills and Tools
- Programming Languages: SQL, MicroFocus Cobol, PHP, IBI-WebFocus, Oracle SQL, PeopleTools, Peoplecode, PeopleSoft's Query Tool, SQR, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, XML, HTML, JAVA, .NET, C#, ESRI Suite, PowerShell Scripting.
- Database Management: Oracle (latest three versions), MS SQL Server (latest two versions).
- Operating Systems: UNIX (AIX), LINUX (Redhat), Microsoft Windows 10 or higher, Microsoft Server 2008 or higher, VMWare, and industry-standard load balancers.
- Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, Cisco IOS, and various Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
- Hardware: Experience with IBM P9 series servers, Cisco and Dell server platforms, and various storage solutions.
- Applications: Knowledge of financial systems, HRMS, inventory management, and various operational applications.
- Mobile Devices: Proficiency with Android and Apple mobile device management software.
