Poverty Reduction Specialist

About the Role:

The Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an Anti-Poverty Fellow. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in advancing creative and innovative solutions to address the complex issue of poverty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce poverty and promote economic empowerment in our community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver programs that address the root causes of poverty.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and innovative solutions to poverty reduction.
• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including local organizations, government agencies, and businesses.
• Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, public policy, or economics.
• Proven experience in poverty reduction, community development, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
