We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead our outdoor summer camp program. As a Seasonal Outdoor Summer Camp Director, you will be responsible for the daily care and administration of children enrolled in our program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the health and safety of the children in the program at all times, including on field trips and at the pool.
  • Plan daily lessons to be executed throughout the week; schedule and accompany off-site field trips.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized program.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Exhibit initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted.
  • Display professionalism always.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • One year experience working with children 5-12 years of age in a licensed childcare/camp setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize personal responsibilities and accomplish job tasks with autonomy from close supervision.
