Nurse Leader

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Leader in the Transitional Care Unit at Zion Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading and directing others, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

• Leadership: Serve as a leader of the healthcare team, delegating tasks appropriately and demonstrating accountability.
• Nursing Process: Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring patient safety and effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, utilizing computer systems effectively and efficiently.
• Clinical Outcomes: Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
• Workplace Safety: Adhere to LMP Workplace Safety principles and practices, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Patient Care Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to patient needs and ensuring a positive patient care experience.
• Team Commitment: Collaborate with the healthcare team, actively participating in departmental activities and contributing to a positive work environment.

• One (1) year recent experience in a Critical Care, DOU or SDU setting, or successful completion of a KP Critical Care, DOU or SDU course.
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
