We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of technicians and manage work assignments, training, and performance to optimize equipment uptime. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, improving preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Supervise work assignments and personnel performance of staff technicians, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff.
  • Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Requisition and maintain a supply of spare parts.
  • Modify programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assign duties.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Enforce a safe workplace by supervising all tasks performed in accordance with O.S.H.A., E.P.A., F.D.A., Food Safety, Lock-out/Tag-out safety rules, codes policies, and regulations, and Confined Entry policies.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by enforcing and complying with Federal, State, and Company rules and procedures.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Maintain time and production records.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a BA/BS degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant environment.
  • Must have a strong industrial electrical knowledge in motor control, VFD, and PLC.
  • Additional mechanical, welding, refrigeration, and plumbing knowledge is preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows, MS Word Processing software, MS Excel Spreadsheet software, MS Outlook, Crystal Report Writer, Internet software, and MP2 Access 2000.
