Attending Psychiatrist and Clinical Educator

Position Overview:
As an Attending Psychiatrist specializing in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care while also engaging in the education of residents and medical students. Your role will involve supervising all trainees assigned to the Psychiatry Consultation Liaison unit, ensuring a high standard of learning and patient care.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will attend to various administrative functions within the unit, which include participation in Executive Committee meetings, Unit Meetings, and Quality Improvement initiatives. You will also conduct case conferences in collaboration with fellow faculty members and engage in departmental committee activities, including the interviewing of resident applicants.
Essential Qualifications:
Must be board eligible in Psychiatry and possess a valid New York State license.
